Stoneware Otter (2022 Range Preorder)

A stoneware ceramic vessel depicting a British otter swimming within botanical carvings. 2022’s featured botanicals are: River Weed, Pond Weed and Camaldulensis Rostrata Red River Gum.
Each stoneware piece is handmade, by first throwing a bowl shape on the potters wheel. The top of the piece is then sculpted and reproduced using custom moulds. The two pieces are then married together and hand beaten into one spherical form. The form is decorated using bespoke oxide and pigments to replicate a watercolour finish. The piece is then completed with hand carved botanical silhouettes.

Approx Dimensions: 22cm wide x 20cm tall
